Ingredients
1.5 lbs Lean Ground Beef
2 jars (24oz each) Marinara Sauce
1 box Lasagna Noodles
15 oz Ricotta Cheese
3 cups Mozzarella Cheese, freshly shredded
1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
1 large Egg
1/4 cup Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until fully cooked then drain excess fat.
Stir the marinara sauce into the cooked beef and set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta, egg, half of the parmesan, and chopped parsley.
Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.
Layer lasagna noodles over the sauce, slightly overlapping.
Spread one-third of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, then top with a portion of the meat sauce and mozzarella.
Repeat the layers until the dish is full, finishing with a final layer of meat sauce, mozzarella, and remaining parmesan.
Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
Use no-boil noodles for faster prep or boil regular noodles until al dente if preferred. For best results, let the lasagna rest for 15 minutes before serving to ensure clean slices. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
