Description
A tender, savory-sweet Asian-inspired chicken recipe with bold garlic and honey flavors. Slow-cooked for juicy, restaurant-quality results with minimal effort. Perfect for family meals or quick weeknights.
Ingredients
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup pure honey
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1 tsp Sriracha (optional for heat)
1 tsp minced ginger (optional for added depth)
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp brown sugar
Instructions
Clean and dry the chicken thighs.
Mince garlic cloves and measure ingredients.
Combine soy sauce, honey, Sriracha, garlic, paprika, and brown sugar in a bowl to make marinade.
Place chicken in a zip-top bag or bowl and pour marinade over it. Mix well.
Marinate for 15 minutes (up to 4 hours in fridge for deeper flavor).
Transfer marinated chicken to the slow cooker.
Cook on low for 6 to 7 hours, until tender and fully cooked.
Optionally broil for 5 minutes for a caramelized finish if preferred.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, simmer the leftover glaze for 5-10 minutes after cooking.
Substitute soy sauce with tamari for a gluten-free option.
Serve over rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables to balance the dish.
Marinating at room temperature for 15 minutes is ideal for quick prep.
