Ingredients
1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, cubed
2 cups heavy cream
1.5 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
8 ounces dried fettuccine pasta
1 tablespoon dried parsley
Instructions
Place the cubed chicken breasts into the bottom of the slow cooker.
In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, melted butter, minced garlic, and dried parsley.
Pour the cream mixture evenly over the chicken.
Cover and cook on low heat for 3 hours.
Separately, cook the fettuccine noodles in boiling water until al dente; drain well.
Stir the fresh parmesan cheese into the slow cooker until the sauce is smooth and glossy.
Add the cooked pasta to the slow cooker and toss to combine.
Allow the pasta to heat through in the sauce for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use freshly grated parmesan instead of pre-shredded cheese for a smoother, better-melting sauce.
Ensure heavy cream is full-fat for the best texture.
If the sauce is too thick after adding the pasta, add a tablespoon of reserved pasta water at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
