Description

These no-bake peanut butter oat bites are a quick and satisfying dessert that takes just 15 minutes to make. Perfect for busy days or last-minute cravings, they combine oats, peanut butter, honey, and chocolate chips for a flavorful and adaptable treat.

Ingredients

Scale

1.5 cups oats
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup honey
1 cup chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal
Combine oats and peanut butter in a large bowl. Stir until the mixture clumps together
Add honey and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly to coat all ingredients evenly
Gradually incorporate chocolate chips, pressing them into the mixture for even distribution
Press the mixture firmly into the prepared dish using a spatula or your hands
Refrigerate the dish for at least 1 hour or until firm. For faster results, freeze for 30 minutes
Cut into 12 squares or bite-sized pieces and serve

Notes

Use rolled oats for the best texture
Substitute peanut butter with almond or sunflower seed butter for nut-free or allergen-friendly options
Honey can be replaced with maple syrup or agave nectar for different sweetness preferences
Dark or milk chocolate chips can be used based on taste
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week
