Description

These puff pastry sausage rolls are crispy, golden, and filled with juicy, flavorful sausage. Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or party food, they are quick and easy to prepare with simple ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 300g sausage meat
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Mix sausage meat with onion, garlic, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roll out puff pastry.
  4. Cut into strips.
  5. Add filling along edge.
  6. Roll tightly and seal.
  7. Cut into smaller pieces.
  8. Place on baking tray.
  9. Brush with egg wash.
  10. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden.

Notes

Keep puff pastry cold before using. Do not overfill the rolls. You can freeze before baking. Reheat in oven for best texture.
