Description

Oven-baked beef tacos with a blend of cumin, chili powder, and Worcestershire sauce for tender, juicy meat. Ready in under an hour, these tacos offer a hands-off, flavorful twist on Mexican cuisine.

Ingredients

Scale

1.5 pounds ground beef (80/20)
1 medium yellow onion
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon chili powder
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
¼ cup tomato sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Black pepper, to taste
Salt, to taste
68 warm tortillas

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the beef with onions and garlic until crumbly
Add cumin, chili powder, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt
Mix well and transfer mixture to the baking sheet
Bake for 20 minutes or until meat is tender
Warm tortillas and fill with beef mixture

Notes

Substitute ground chicken or turkey for a lighter option
Use corn tortillas for a gluten-free alternative
Add ½ teaspoon smoked paprika for extra depth
Swap tomato sauce with diced tomatoes for a chunkier texture
