Instructions
- Heat milk in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Mix cornstarch with a little cold milk until smooth.

- Temper eggs with warm milk.
- Return mixture to saucepan.
- Cook until thick and creamy.
- Add lemon juice and zest.
- Stir in butter and vanilla.

- Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
