Ingredients
1.5 lbs 80% lean ground beef
12 mini brioche burger buns
8 oz sharp cheddar cheese (aged, broken into slices)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp smoked paprika (optional)
2 tbsp sour cream
2 cloves garlic (for pressing)
1 tbsp mayonnaise (garlic-flavored)
1 tbsp olive oil (or non-halal alternative)
Fresh thyme sprigs (optional, for aroma infusion)
Instructions
Combine ground beef with salt, pepper, and optional smoked paprika in a bowl until just mixed.
Form 12 equal portions, shaping each into a patty slightly larger than buns with a thumb indentation.
Press a garlic clove twice into the top of each patty for aromatic marks.
Chill patties for 15 minutes to firm edges.
