12 mini brioche burger buns

2 cloves garlic (for pressing)
1 tbsp mayonnaise (garlic-flavored)
1 tbsp olive oil (or non-halal alternative)

Instructions

Combine ground beef with salt, pepper, and optional smoked paprika in a bowl until just mixed.
Form 12 equal portions, shaping each into a patty slightly larger than buns with a thumb indentation.
Press a garlic clove twice into the top of each patty for aromatic marks.
Chill patties for 15 minutes to firm edges.
Heat skillet to 450°F and cook patties 4 minutes per side. Add a slice of cheddar during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
