Ingredients
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (170g) honey
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (120ml) whole milk
- Optional: sliced almonds for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan, lining it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add honey and mix until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with milk, mixing gently until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Sprinkle sliced almonds on top if desired.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Use high-quality honey for the best flavor. Do not overmix the batter to keep the cake tender. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to 5 days.
