Description

These ground chicken meatballs offer a lean, high-protein alternative to traditional recipes. Featuring fresh garlic, herbs, and Parmesan cheese, they achieve a tender and juicy texture that is perfect for pairing with your favorite sauces or grains. By using a gentle mixing technique and a quick pan-sear, you lock in moisture, ensuring every bite is savory and delicious. Ideal for busy weeknights, these meatballs are as nutritious as they are satisfying, providing a healthy, versatile staple for your family table.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb Ground Chicken
1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
1 large Egg
3 cloves Garlic, minced
1/4 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 tablespoons Olive oil

Instructions

Combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, parsley, parmesan, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
Mix the ingredients gently with your hands until just incorporated, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Shape the mixture into uniform balls approximately 1.5 inches in diameter.
Heat the olive oil in a wide skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Place the meatballs in the skillet in a single layer without crowding.
Sear the meatballs for 3 minutes per side until a golden brown crust develops on the exterior.
Continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Notes

Use a light hand when mixing to keep the meatballs tender. If the mixture is too soft, chill it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes before shaping. These store well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
