Description

Juicy ground beef seasoned with bold Mexican spices, served in warm corn tortillas with fresh toppings for a satisfying, handheld meal.

Ingredients

Scale

1.5 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend)
1 medium onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
Black pepper, to taste
12 large corn tortillas

Instructions

Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking up clumps.
Add onion and garlic, sauté 2-3 minutes until softened.
Mix in cumin, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
Continue cooking 7-10 minutes until beef is fully cooked.
Warm tortillas on the skillet or in a microwave.
Serve beef in tortillas with desired toppings.

Notes

Use lean ground beef or substitute with ground turkey for lighter flavor.
Shallots or red onion can replace yellow onion for varied taste.
Substitute corn tortillas with flour or gluten-free alternatives if needed.
Add toppings like salsa, guacamole, or lettuce for extra flavor.
