Description
Succulent pieces of marinated chicken breast grilled to perfection and finished with a rich, savory coating of garlic butter and salty parmesan cheese. These skewers offer a high-protein, flavorful bite that is perfect for backyard grilling or a quick weeknight dinner. The combination of aromatic garlic and melted cheese creates a crispy, charred exterior that keeps the meat inside incredibly juicy and tender.
Ingredients
1.5 lbs Chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
4 cloves Garlic, minced finely
0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp Italian herbs (dried oregano and thyme blend)
Sea salt and cracked pepper to taste
2 tbsp Unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
Whisk olive oil, half of the minced garlic, dried herbs, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
Toss chicken cubes in the marinade and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Soak wooden skewers in water for 20 minutes to prevent charring.
Thread chicken onto skewers, leaving small gaps for even airflow.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates.
Grill for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until internal temperature reaches 165F.
Whisk remaining garlic, melted butter, and parmesan to create a paste.
Brush the garlic parmesan mixture over the grilled skewers before serving.
Notes
Use freshly grated parmesan for the best melt quality. If using metal skewers, no soaking is required. Ensure the internal temperature reads 165 internal to guarantee juicy chicken.
