4 chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on) with attached drumsticks
4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (optional, adjust cooking time)
1/2 cup unsalted butter (kosher or clarified for high heat)
6 cloves fresh garlic, minced (or 4 tsp garlic paste)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or 1/3 cup nutritional yeast for vegan)
2 tbsp olive oil (neutral oil)
1 tbsp fresh rosemary, crushed
1 tbsp fresh thyme, stems removed
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)


Instructions

Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels; discard wings or cartilage if present.
