Description

This Focaccia with Cheese is soft, fluffy, and golden with melted mozzarella and feta on top. Made with simple ingredients and baked until bubbly, it is the perfect Mediterranean bread for sharing.


Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Activate yeast in warm water with sugar.
  2. Mix flour and salt, then add yeast mixture and olive oil.
  3. Knead until smooth and elastic.
  4. Let dough rise until doubled.
  5. Press into oiled pan and create dimples.
  6. Top with olive oil, mozzarella, feta, and herbs.
  7. Let rest 20–30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden.

Notes

Use high-quality olive oil for best flavor. Allow proper rising time. Serve warm. Store leftovers in airtight container for up to 2 days.
