Description

Ingredients

  • 500g all-purpose flour
  • 350ml warm water
  • 7g dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast and let it foam for 10 minutes.
  2. Combine flour and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add yeast mixture and olive oil.
  4. Mix into a soft dough.
  5. Knead for 10 minutes until smooth.
  6. Let dough rise until doubled in size.
  7. Shape into a loaf.
  8. Let it rise again for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 200°C for 25–30 minutes until golden.

Notes

Use warm water to activate yeast properly. Let dough rise longer for deeper flavor. Store in a cloth bag for freshness. You can add herbs or seeds for variation.
