- 100 g sugar
- 100 g unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- Pinch of salt
- 80 g chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Mix butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add egg and vanilla and mix well.
- Add flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix into a soft dough.
- Add chocolate chips if desired.
- Shape into small balls and flatten.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden.
- Let cool slightly and serve.
Notes
Do not overbake for softer cookies. Chill dough for thicker cookies. You can freeze the dough and bake later. Add nuts or dried fruits for variation.
