Description

These easy homemade cookies are soft, buttery, and ready in minutes. Made with simple pantry ingredients, they are perfect for a quick sweet treat any time of the day.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200 g all-purpose flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 80 g chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Mix butter and sugar until creamy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla and mix well.
  4. Add flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Mix into a soft dough.
  6. Add chocolate chips if desired.
  7. Shape into small balls and flatten.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden.
  9. Let cool slightly and serve.

Notes

Do not overbake for softer cookies. Chill dough for thicker cookies. You can freeze the dough and bake later. Add nuts or dried fruits for variation.
