Description

Classic Spinach Salad is a fresh, healthy, and easy-to-make dish featuring tender spinach leaves, boiled eggs, crunchy nuts, and a light homemade dressing. Perfect for a quick meal or a nourishing side.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup toasted almonds or walnuts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the spinach.
  2. Slice eggs, onion, and mushrooms.
  3. Toast nuts lightly in a pan.
  4. Whisk olive oil, vinegar, mustard, honey, salt, and pepper.
  5. Toss spinach with dressing.
  6. Add toppings and serve immediately.

Notes

Keep dressing separate until serving to maintain freshness. Slice onions thinly to avoid overpowering flavor. Add cheese or seeds for variation.
