Description

I make this broccoli quiche with tender broccoli, creamy eggs, and melted cheese baked in a flaky crust. It is warm, comforting, and perfect for any meal of the day.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pie crust
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 small onion
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Sauté onion in olive oil.
  3. Add broccoli and cook lightly.
  4. Place pie crust in dish.
  5. Add vegetables into crust.
  6. Mix eggs and milk.
  7. Add seasoning and cheese.
  8. Pour mixture over vegetables.
  9. Bake for 35–40 minutes.
  10. Let cool slightly and serve.

Notes

Cook broccoli first to avoid excess moisture. Use good cheese for better flavor. Let quiche rest before slicing. You can add spinach or mushrooms.
