- 1 pie crust
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 small onion
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Pinch of nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Sauté onion in olive oil.
- Add broccoli and cook lightly.
- Place pie crust in dish.
- Add vegetables into crust.
- Mix eggs and milk.
- Add seasoning and cheese.
- Pour mixture over vegetables.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes.
- Let cool slightly and serve.
Notes
Cook broccoli first to avoid excess moisture. Use good cheese for better flavor. Let quiche rest before slicing. You can add spinach or mushrooms.
