Ingredients
Ground beef (80/20) 1.5 lbs
Onion 1 large, finely chopped
Garlic 3 cloves, minced
Taco seasoning mix 2 tbsp
Ground cumin 1 tsp
Lime juice 2 tbsp
Warm tortillas 12 (6-inch) soft corn or flour
Shredded lettuce 1 cup
Diced tomatoes 1 cup
Cheese 1/2 cup (shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar)

Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tbsp oil. Add onion and sauté 3-4 minutes until translucent.
Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant. Add ground beef and cook 8-10 minutes, breaking into crumbles.
Stir in taco seasoning, cumin, and lime juice. Cook 5 minutes until meat is fully cooked and liquid is absorbed.
Notes
Use a cast-iron skillet for a caramelized crust.
Pre-made taco seasoning can be substituted for convenience.
Customize toppings with pickled jalapeños, avocado, or cilantro for added flavor.
