Ingredients
2 Ribeye steaks (at least 1 inch thick)
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
Instructions
Remove steaks from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking to come to room temperature.
Pat the steaks completely dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear.
Brush a thin layer of olive oil over both sides of each steak.
Combine salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a small bowl and rub into the meat.
Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes.
Place steaks in the air fryer basket in a single, non-overlapping layer.
Cook for 10 to 14 minutes, flipping halfway through, depending on desired doneness.
Remove from air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer to ensure accuracy: 125 degrees Fahrenheit for rare, 135 for medium-rare, or 145 for medium. Always allow the meat to rest to retain juices.
