Ingredients
2 (6 oz each) Salmon fillets, fresh and skin-on preferred
1 tbsp Olive oil
1 tsp Garlic powder
1/2 tsp Smoked paprika
1/2 tsp Sea salt
1/4 tsp Black pepper
Instructions
Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure the skin crisps efficiently.
Rub each fillet evenly with olive oil using your hands or a silicone brush.
Whisk the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl to create the dry rub.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture generously over all sides of the salmon fillets.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for three minutes.
Place the salmon skin-side down in the air fryer basket with adequate space between fillets.
Cook for 8 to 10 minutes depending on the thickness of the fillet, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Notes
Ensure the fish is patted very dry to guarantee the crispiest skin. If your fillets are extra thick, you may need an additional 1-2 minutes of cooking time.
