Description
Zucchini Gratin is a creamy baked dish made with tender zucchini, garlic, rich cream, and melted cheese topped with golden breadcrumbs. Perfect as a comforting side or vegetarian main dish.
Ingredients

- 4 medium zucchini, sliced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup grated Gruyère
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Sauté onion and garlic.
- Add zucchini and cook 5–7 minutes.
- Layer in baking dish.
- Pour cream mixture over.
- Top with cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Bake 30–35 minutes until golden.
Notes
Sauté zucchini first to prevent excess moisture. Best served warm. Store up to 3 days refrigerated.
