Description

Sweet Cinnamon French Toast is a cozy breakfast favorite made with thick bread slices soaked in a cinnamon-vanilla egg mixture and cooked until golden brown. Perfect for brunch or special mornings.


Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup (240ml) whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter for frying
  • Honey or maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Dip each slice of bread into the mixture for 15–20 seconds per side.
  3. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook bread slices 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Serve warm with honey, syrup, or powdered sugar.

Notes

Use slightly stale bread for best results. Cook over medium heat to prevent burning. Add orange zest for a Mediterranean twist.
