Ingredients
1 can of biscuit dough (or homemade dough if preferred)
1/4 cup of butter, melted
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
1/4 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Prepare the Cinnamon Roll Dough:
Roll out your biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit into a rough rectangle. If using homemade dough, roll it out to about 1/4-inch thick.Add the Cinnamon Filling:
Spread the melted butter over the flattened dough, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly. Roll up the dough tightly and slice into individual rolls.Cook the Rolls in a Skillet:
Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and add a bit of butter. Place the cinnamon rolls in the skillet, making sure they’re not overcrowded. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 15 minutes, then flip gently and cook for another 5-10 minutes until golden brown.Make the Icing:
In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to create a smooth icing.Serve:
Drizzle the icing over the hot cinnamon rolls and enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to adjust the amount of cinnamon and sugar to your taste.
If you prefer a thicker icing, add more powdered sugar.
You can use homemade dough for a fresher option, but store-bought dough works perfectly for a quicker solution.
