Description

These skillet cinnamon rolls are an easy, no-oven solution for your cinnamon roll cravings. Perfectly golden and gooey, this simple recipe is ideal for any time of day, from breakfast to a cozy snack. Made with just a few ingredients, you’ll enjoy all the sweet, cinnamon goodness without having to turn on the oven.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of biscuit dough (or homemade dough if preferred)

  • 1/4 cup of butter, melted

  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for icing)

  • 2 tablespoons milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cinnamon Roll Dough:
Roll out your biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit into a rough rectangle. If using homemade dough, roll it out to about 1/4-inch thick.

  2. Add the Cinnamon Filling:
Spread the melted butter over the flattened dough, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly. Roll up the dough tightly and slice into individual rolls.

  3. Cook the Rolls in a Skillet:
Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and add a bit of butter. Place the cinnamon rolls in the skillet, making sure they’re not overcrowded. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 15 minutes, then flip gently and cook for another 5-10 minutes until golden brown.

  4. Make the Icing:
In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to create a smooth icing.

  5. Serve:
Drizzle the icing over the hot cinnamon rolls and enjoy!

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the amount of cinnamon and sugar to your taste.

  • If you prefer a thicker icing, add more powdered sugar.

  • You can use homemade dough for a fresher option, but store-bought dough works perfectly for a quicker solution.
