Description

These rich fudgy brownies are deeply chocolatey, moist, and irresistibly soft in the center with a delicate crackly top.   • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  3. Pour melted butter into a mixing bowl and whisk with granulated sugar and brown sugar.
  4. Add eggs one at a time while whisking until the mixture becomes glossy.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. In another bowl mix flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  7. Gently fold dry ingredients into the batter.
  8. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  9. Spread batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  10. Bake for 22–28 minutes until the edges are set and the center remains soft.
  11. Allow brownies to cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra texture add chopped walnuts or pecans. Use high-quality cocoa powder for the richest chocolate flavor. Do not overbake to keep the brownies soft and fudgy. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
