Description

This quick roasted asparagus with Parmesan is a simple and flavorful side dish. Fresh asparagus roasts in olive oil until tender and slightly crispy, then gets topped with melted Parmesan for a delicious finish.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash asparagus and trim woody ends.
  3. Place asparagus on a baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over asparagus.
  5. Sprinkle salt and black pepper.
  6. Toss to coat evenly and spread in a single layer.
  7. Roast for 10–12 minutes until tender.
