- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time and mix well.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Let cookies cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For thicker cookies chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days. The dough can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
