Ingredients

- 3 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and thinly slice the cucumbers.
- Sprinkle with salt and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Drain and gently squeeze out excess water.
- In a bowl, mix sour cream, vinegar, olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and sugar.
- Add chopped dill and stir.
- Combine cucumbers with dressing and mix well.
- Chill for 20 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use fresh dill for best flavor. You can substitute Greek yogurt for a lighter version. Store in the fridge for up to 2 days. Stir before serving if liquid appears.
