- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1/4 cup softened butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Activate yeast in warm milk and sugar until foamy.
- Add butter, egg, salt, and flour to form dough.
- Knead until smooth and let rise for 1 hour.
- Roll dough into a rectangle.
- Spread butter and sprinkle cinnamon sugar.
- Roll tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place in baking dish and rise 30 minutes.
- Bake at 180°C for 20-25 minutes.
- Mix frosting ingredients until smooth.
- Spread frosting over warm rolls and serve.
Notes
Use warm—not hot—milk for yeast. Let dough rise fully for best texture. Store leftovers in airtight container up to 3 days. Reheat gently before serving.
