Description

These easy fudgy brownies are rich, dense, and deeply chocolatey with a crackly top and soft center. Made with simple pantry ingredients, this homemade brownie recipe delivers intense chocolate flavor and a perfect fudgy texture in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
  4. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  5. Add eggs one at a time and mix until smooth and glossy.
  6. Fold in the flour gently until just combined.
  7. Stir in chocolate chips.
  8. Pour batter into prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 20–25 minutes until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft.
  10. Allow brownies to cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

Do not overbake if you want the best fudgy texture. Let the brownies cool completely for clean slices. You can add walnuts, pecans, or extra chocolate chunks for variation. Store brownies in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
