Description

A refreshing and easy cucumber dill salad made with crisp cucumbers, fresh dill, and a light tangy dressing. Perfect as a quick summer side dish that is healthy, flavorful, and ready in minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 large cucumbers, sliced
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp plain yogurt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the cucumbers.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and let sit for 10 minutes, then drain excess water.
  3. Thinly slice the red onion and chop the dill.
  4. In a bowl, mix vinegar, olive oil, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add yogurt if you prefer a creamy version and mix well.
  6. Combine cucumbers, onion, and dill in a bowl.
  7. Pour dressing over and toss gently.
  8. Chill for 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use fresh dill for best flavor. For extra crunch, do not skip draining the cucumbers. Store in the fridge for up to 2 days. Add yogurt for a creamy variation or skip for a lighter version.
