Description

This cucumber dill salad is a refreshing, creamy, and easy-to-make dish packed with crisp cucumbers, fresh dill, and a light yogurt dressing. Perfect for warm days, quick lunches, or as a healthy side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice cucumbers thinly.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain excess liquid from cucumbers.
  4. In a bowl, mix yogurt, olive oil, vinegar, and garlic.
  5. Add dill and onion to the dressing.
  6. Combine cucumbers with dressing.
  7. Mix gently until coated.
  8. Chill for 20 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use fresh dill for best flavor. You can substitute Greek yogurt with sour cream. Keep cucumbers separate if preparing ahead to maintain crunch. Store in fridge for up to 2 days.
