Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and trim the woody ends from the asparagus.
- Place asparagus on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle with olive oil.
- Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Toss to coat evenly.
- Spread asparagus in a single layer.
- Roast for 10–12 minutes until tender and slightly crispy.
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese over asparagus.
- Roast an additional 2–3 minutes until cheese melts.
Notes
Choose thin asparagus for the best texture. Do not overcrowd the baking sheet or the asparagus will steam instead of roast. Fresh parmesan cheese provides the best flavor.
