- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 teaspoons yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter (for filling)
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let foam.
- Add butter, egg, salt, and flour.
- Knead dough until soft.
- Let rise for 1 hour.
- Roll dough into rectangle.
- Spread butter, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Roll and slice.
- Let rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 180°C for 20–25 minutes.
- Mix glaze ingredients.
- Spread glaze over warm rolls.
Notes
Use warm—not hot—milk for yeast activation. Let dough rise fully. Store leftovers in fridge and reheat gently. Prepare ahead and bake fresh for best results.
