- 4 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh dill, chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Wash and thinly slice the cucumbers.
- Sprinkle with salt and let sit for 10 minutes to release water.
- Drain and gently squeeze excess liquid.
- Add sliced red onion and chopped dill.
- In a bowl, mix sour cream, vinegar, olive oil, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Pour dressing over cucumbers and mix well.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use fresh dill for best flavor. You can substitute Greek yogurt for a lighter version. Add garlic for extra taste or chill longer for deeper flavor. Store in the fridge for up to 2 days.
