Ingredients

- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven – Set your oven to 325°F (163°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Make the Brownie Batter – In a mixing bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix well.
- Add Dry Ingredients – Sift in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Stir until just combined.
- Prepare the Cheesecake Layer – In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until creamy. Add egg and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
- Layer and Swirl – Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, reserving a few tablespoons. Spread the cheesecake mixture on top, then swirl in the remaining brownie batter with a knife.
- Bake – Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cheesecake is set.
- Cool and Serve – Let cool completely before slicing. Refrigerate for best results.
