Ingredients
For the Brownie Layer:
- ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup (60g) all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup (35g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
For the Cheesecake Layer:
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Add-ins:
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- ¼ cup raspberry sauce (for swirling)
Instructions
Preheat & Prepare – Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan and line with parchment paper.
Make the Brownie Layer – In a bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, then mix. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold together until smooth. Pour into the pan.
Make the Cheesecake Layer – Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over the brownie batter.
Swirl (Optional) – Use a knife or toothpick to create a swirl pattern if desired.
Bake – Bake for 35-40 minutes until the center is set. Let cool completely.
Chill & Serve – Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before slicing.
