  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a 9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  3. Stir in sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract.
  5. Add eggs and egg yolk one at a time, whisking well.
  6. Gently stir in flour until just combined.
  7. Fold in chocolate chips and optional walnuts.
